The gatherling is generally not recommended for normal gameplay, as she will sell all items on the ground indiscriminately. This can lead to important items (e.g. ones left on the ground to attract piñatas) being sold against the player's wishes. Additionally, the gatherling makes less money selling items than can be made by selling the same items to Costolot manually.
