Banjo-Kazooie

Banjo-Kazooie is a 3D platform game for the Nintendo 64, created by the same team within Rare that made Viva Piñata. Because Rare loves their inside jokes, Viva Piñata contains an abundance of Banjo references.

• The Dastardos Scarer is a statue depicting Mumbo.
• The Bear & Bird Statue depicts the title duo.
• In the first game, Banjo & Kazooie's faces appear carved into a mountain far outside the garden. In Trouble in Paradise, the mountain can now be seen when visiting the Piñarctic.
• Many accessories like the Breegull Carrier, Grunty Hat, and Jiggie Earrings come from the Banjo series.
• Fizzlybear fights using Jiggies, the main collectible of the game. It also must wear a Breegull Carrier to romance.
• Many music tracks in Viva Piñata are based on tracks originally composed for Dream: Land of Giants, a scrapped prototype that eventually led to the creation of Banjo-Kazooie.
• The Pirate Statue depicts Cap'n Blackeye, a pirate that appears in Banjo-Tooie, and who was originally designed as the villain for Dream: Land of Giants.
