Salamango is a salamander piñata and the evolved form of Newtgat. Despite being based on a real animal, Salamangos appear to take more inspiration from mythological salamanders, who have a strong association with fire.

Trivia

• In accordance with its mythical inspiration, Salamangos are referred to as "FireSalamander" in the game files.
  • The fire salamander is a real animal known for its toxic skin secretions, which can cause irritation when touched. Combined with its amphibious nature, this led to a long-standing cultural association with fire, from which the animal takes its name.
