Buzzlegum is a round bee piñata. It loves yellow flowers, and can make honey for you if you treat it right.

Why do Buzzlegums make honey? I think it's a bribe so we'll be their friends. I mean, without the delicious, sweet honey, you're left with nothing more than a fat wasp.

Production

Buzzlegums can create honey with the use of a Honey Hive. When a Buzzlegum is ready to make honey, their legs and stinger will flash white. Directing them into the Honey Hive will cause them to enter, and create fresh honey that you may use as you please.

To get a Buzzlegum ready to make honey, you must first feed it a flower. Any kind will do, but after it has eaten the flower it will be ready to produce. In Trouble in Paradise, you must instead get the Buzzlegum to max Candiosity to produce honey.

Wearing a Buzzlegum Keeper Hat will allow the Buzzlegum to automatically make honey, and skip needing to feed it before making honey. This is the most efficient method of production.
