Trivia

  • Mousemallow was voiced by Riko Agarie, the Rare artist who designed it.
    • Paying homage to Agarie's Japanese heritage, the Mousemallow says "chu", Japanese onomatopoeia for a mouse's squeak.
  • The "three rules" mentioned in Mousemallow's journal entry reference the nursery rhyme Three Blind Mice ("the 'blind' routine" ) and the cartoon character Mickey Mouse ("a [mouse] wearing pants").
    • The structure of three specific rules imparted by an elderly family member may also be a reference to the film Gremlins.
