Loather

Loathers are bomb-like creatures created by Professor Pester. They will do everything in their power to stop piñatas from romancing. They make up the mazes found in the romancing mini-game, and will explode on contact.

Loathers come in a variety of colors, but are most commonly red similar to all other threats to your garden. Loathers are also seen as the attack projectiles of Ruffians, and one capable of speech is seen in the mini-games introduced in Trouble in Paradise.

Loather in The P Factor

A sentient Loather can participate in the mini-games added in Trouble in Paradise. This Loather can speak, a trait not seen anywhere else. As an opponent, they will use sour piñatas.

As a judge in The P Factor, Loather will prefer piñatas that have not romanced very much. Either not having romanced that piñata at all, or failing the mini-game will work. This is opposite to Willy, who likes piñatas that have successfully romanced many time.
