Shovel

The Shovel is the first tool obtained upon starting the game. It is your primary landscaping tool, being able to dig holes for seeds, create ponds, and clear out cracked earth and debris. It can also be used as a weapon against piñatas or characters, and destroy structures and plants.

Shovel Parts
The shovel is upgraded many times as you progress through the game. Upon reaching certain levels, Jardiniero will upgrade either your shovel handle or shovel head for you, granting you new abilities and making it easier to destroy items or piñatas.
All upgrades carry over the abilities of the last. Once your shovel is upgraded, you cannot go back to an older version of it.

The final shovel upgrades are not earned via level-up. Instead, they are purchased from Ivor Bargain. In Trouble in Paradise, they are instead sold at Costolot's Store.
