Accessories are various articles of clothing that can be worn by piñatas, available for sale at Paper Pets. Wearing accessories not only makes piñatas happier, but raises their value as well. Each piñata can wear up to 5 different accessories-- no more than one per part of the body. Accessories can be worn on the head, eyes, mouth, ears, neck, nose, arms, feet, body, and front.

While many accessories are purely cosmetic, many also have other uses. This can range from fulfilling romance requirements, to allowing certain species to produce automatically. Piñatas wearing specific accessories are also commonly requested for Langston's Challenges in Trouble in Paradise.

In Pocket Paradise, accessories are instead sold by Gretchen Fetchem, who inherits all functionality from Paper Pets. Accessories are heavily scaled back in this game-- far fewer accessory options are available, and each piñata may only wear one accessory at a time.

Dragonache and Choclodocus are the only species that cannot wear accessories at all. Sour piñatas also cannot wear accessories, as they cannot reside permanently in the garden without first being tamed.
