Fertilizer

Fertilizer is a substance used to catalyze plant growth. No plant requires fertilizer to grow, but all plants' yields can be improved with fertilizer. Vegetables will grow bigger, flowers will grow more buds, and trees and bushes will grow more branches. Additionally, the first time the player catalyzes growth for a given plant, they will receive an award.

Fertilizer comes in a multitude of colors, with every plant requiring a different kind of fertilizer. Every plant will grow with the use of Special Mix Fertilizer or Cocoadile tears.

In the original game, colored fertilizers can be bought at Costolot's Store, while Ivor Bargain sells his own Special Mix fertilizer. Fertilizer is largely the same in TiP, but since Ivor Bargain's store no longer exists, his Special Mix is now available at Lottie's for a higher price. In Pocket Paradise, fertilizer is not buyable, and therefore must be obtained from Taffly poop.
