Sparrowmints are a little brown bird piñata seen early in the game. With an appetite for Whirlms, this may be the first predator a new player encounters in the garden.

Trivia

  • Sparrowmint is the only piñata whose evolution method was changed between Viva Piñata and Trouble in Paradise, most likely to take advantage of the newly added plants.
    • A possible exception may be Horstachio into Zumbug, whose method was simplified in Pocket Paradise. Though its food item was unchanged, it no longer requires both its foods to evolve.
