Mother

Mother is the unseen wife of Jardiniero and mother to Stardos, Leafos, Storkos, and Sidos. She is only referred to as Mother by characters in-game, so her real name is unknown.

Biography

Lore

Mother met Jardiniero shortly after he first started his garden. She worked as a sailor, transporting piñatas to parties around the world in the days prior to Piñata Centrals construction. It was when the first parts to build Piñata Central arrived that the pair got married, with Mother staying on land for a year afterwards. It was during this time that Stardos was born.

She would leave again when Stardos was 2, returning again some time later where Leafos would be born. She was quick to leave once again, her sailing career continuing to make her distant from her growing family.

At some point, Mother would be caught by surprise, leading to Storkos being born while she was at sea. She would name her after migrating storks that followed the ship, and Storkos would spend her early years with her mother and her crewmates.

The map Mother and Jardiniero would follow in search of the Dragonache

Mother would eventually finally retire from sailing, finally staying on shore with her family full time. Sidos would be born soon after, and the completed family would live happily together for awhile.

One day, Jardiniero was approached by a former employee, Lester. He would offer him a map that would lead him to his quest for the Dragonache, which Jardiniero eagerly accepted. Mother would accompany him on his mission, planning to captain the boat to take them to island of an old man who had supposedly seen the legendary piñata. The garden would be left in the care of Stardos and Leafos, with Storkos to watch over the young Sidos. With everything set, the pair would begin their voyage.

As they drew near to the island, Mother would spot shallow rocks, and attempt to maneuver around them. Unfortunately, the ship would be hit with a freak wave, and smash it against the rocks. Jardiniero would be thrown overboard, leaving Mother alone clinging to the damaged vessel.

Mother would be swept out to sea with the boat, and never seen again. Her fate remains unknown, however Jardiniero remains confident that she must be alright.

Trivia

• According to Leafos, Mother would scold her by saying she may turn into a Ruffian. Whether this is true is unknown, but it is likely that it is simply a fairy tale told on Piñata Island to convince children to behave.
